Thank you to everyone for the constant flow of caring enquiries. We are so grateful for the continuous outpouring of love, care and perseverance shown by friends and family across the world.

In the past few days, following a change in medication, both the frequency and intensity of Benjy’s seizures has significantly reduced. Further, Benjy is breathing on his own for several hours at a time and the plan is to gradually wean him off any form of mechanical ventilation.

The anti-seizure medication has a sedative effect. We await a period when the medication can be reduced to a dose that is low enough so Benjy is alert but sufficient to prevent seizures. This will allow a proper neurological evaluation to be made and his recovery can progress.

It is rather surreal to be surrounded by so many talented physicians of different faiths who are so unanimous in their deference to G-d in regard to Benjy’s prognosis. In short, there is every reason to be positive and “they just don’t know” and we continue to reach out to G-d to answer our prayers.

We would like to complete a fresh cycle of the Book of Tehillim before Shabbat. If you can spare 3 minutes to purely concentrate on Benjy, ask G-d to return him to us in full health and believe that your prayer will make a difference, then click on the link, say a chapter and click on the bottom to confirm that it has been read.

Thank you
