Job Opportunity: Assistant to the Founder – Job Description. Livnot U’Lehibanot, a Tzfat based non-profit that provides Jewish Identity programs and other educational-tourism venues.

Job Responsibilities: Providing assistance to organization’s Founder especially with fundraising related projects and tasks and strategic partnership building. Information management support and any other projects and duties as required. All tasks will be coordinated with the Organization CEO and Development head, as well as in coordination with the Livnot Boards.

Job Duties: Providing high level assistance and support to Founder with Donor relations – Writing and submission of grant applications (in cooperation with the Director of Development) – Data input and information management – Management of communication with Board of Directors in Israel and American Friends of Livnot – Maintaining communication with alumni and donors – Producing fundraising related reports – Researching potential fundraising sources – Preparation of fundraising-related materials – Assisting Founder with any needed miscellaneous tasks.

Applicant requirements: Excellent spoken and written communication skills (English) – Organization and time – management skills – Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure – Prior experience with fundraising and grant writing – Familiarity with North American Jewish organizational and Philanthropy world – advantage – Computer Savvy – Prior experience with fundraising software – advantage – Spoken and written Hebrew – advantage

Other information: Position is half time with a possibility to be Full time – Position is temporary – 3.5 to 6 months, with option of becoming permanent – Place of work is in Tzfat (open possibility to do some not in Tzfat) – Some of the work is done during evening hours as Israel-US time difference requires.
