Ramban BM – Holocaust survivor speaking

This week at the Ramban BM:

Friends, new and old members are all invited to the Beit midrash on Tuesdays.
*A new chabura in ENGLISH, led by Josh Yuter will be learning a variety of topics. This weeks topic will be- Tzelem Elokim (Gods image). * Chabura learning Nechama Leibowitz on the parsha 
* Learning series titled: Israel’s war of independence: Who, what, when, where and why. 
* Open individual learning and chavrutot in the Beit midrash.

21:00- light refreshments followed by a special lecture by Holocaust survivor Yaffa Silverberg who will be sharing her story.

Yaffa Silverberg was born in 1941 during world war two in the Lukov ghetto in occupied Poland. She Was saved by a non Jewish family who raised her from the age of six months till the end of the war. She made Aliya at the age of 4.5 with her aunt and spent 10 years going from place to place in Israel. At the age of 14.5 she was reunited with her father in America. She recently returned to Israel.

The Beit Midrash is completely dependent on donations from participants. Any amount is appreciated.
