Bus detours – From Jerusalem Bus Map.
HEADS UP: Due to the Jerusalem Pride Parade taking place on Thursday, August 2, the following detours will be in effect on routes 7/7A, 9, 13, 17, 18, 19/19A, 22, 32, 34/34A, 38, 71, 72, 74, 75, 77/77A, and 78/78A from 5-8 PM. Please be advised that for events such as this one, it is difficult to pin down the exact times that detours will start and end. Also, the planned detours may be altered by the police if necessary. Expect delays and allow extra time, even if your route isn’t on the list of detours.
Also, please be advised that the Jerusalem Bus Map Facebook page is not a place for commentary on the various events that cause bus detours in Jerusalem. This page exists merely to alert people to changes to Jerusalem’s transportation network, whether they be long term or temporary. There are lots of places on the Internet where you can debate the merits of Gay Pride, Haredi protests, whether buses should serve a specific neighborhood, and anything else you find controversial. On this page, such posts will be deleted. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding and cooperation.
