Learn Coping Skills This Summer to Prepare Yourself for Next Year 

Machon Dvir in Jerusalem is running Intensive DBT Summer Skills Groups for men and for women during the summer vacation. This involves two 3-hour skills group sessions each week for 6 weeks. The women’s group will run from July 1 on Sundays and Wednesdays, and there will be a separate men’s group. 

What is a DBT Skills Group? 

Dialectical Behavior Therapy involves learning practical skills for controlling your emotional behavior so that you can manage your life more effectively. This evidence-based approach has been shown to be helpful for anyone who struggles to control their emotions or who is prone to anxiety or depression, impulsive, addictive and self-harming behaviors, and dysregulated eating. Our Skills Groups are led by members of our professional team of therapists and take place at our Jerusalem clinic, located opposite First Station.  

In addition to our Intensive Summer Skills Groups, Machon Dvir also offers low intensity DBT skills training during the year, either in groups or individual therapy.
