Father’s Day Special – Lessons on Parenting from Ha’Rav Ahron Lichtenstein

Today is ‘Father’s Day’. My grandmother used to say that everyday is Father’s Day ( or Mother’s Day for that matter) and I do believe that too. However, as I’ve seen on my Facebook Feed many people do find meaning in this day, I wanted to share some thought provoking material Rav Moshe Taragin put together for, ‘Father’s Day’.

Gives plenty of food for thought for those who are parents:

“Raising children is a lot of work, and it is one of the greatest joys in the world – one of the greatest responsibilities and greatest privileges. There are very few people about whom it can be genuinely be said that there is something objectively more important in their life than raising children. Every child is a world unto himself, and should be treated with sensitivity, understanding, warmth, and love. ”
